Mindset for Success
Why Not? It’s great to be skeptical, but don’t forget to be equally skeptical of the status quo and the default options of this world. Why not bend some rules and do something different?
Be First in Line. If you want to avoid having to compete with ~250 resumes, find companies via Crunchbase, and approach them proactively. Get hired before they ever post a job!
Your Value. Self-love and self-esteem are awesome, but that doesn’t mean you’re owed a job. Your value in the marketplace depends on how much value you can create for others. Do that, and you’re golden.
