Mindset for Success

1% a Day.
Improving one percent a day equals a whopping 3700% a year!

Yes, really.

So start building momentum in small steps today. Make excellence and growth a habit, and watch the results compound.

Start anywhere, but make sure you start. Your Future Self will thank you.

Also, Finish!
So much creative treasure stays stuck inside people, because they’re afraid to finally finish and put it out there for the world to see.

So many blog posts left unpublished. Emails left unsent. Pitches that will never be heard.

What a shame.

Don’t let this be you.
Complete. Ship. Launch.

Quote of the Week

“I’ve had a lot of worries in my life, most of which never happened.”
— Mark Twain

The First Rule of Fight Club.

One of the biggest problems in the world today is that so many people feel dead inside.

They feel like life is happening to them, they’re stuck in a job they hate, trying to please people they don’t like, and there’s not much they can do about it.

Sound familiar?
Well, it’s not true.

You are so much more powerful and capable than you think you are. And here at the DJH, it’s our mission to wake you up to that fact.

We want to help you discover and do what makes you come alive!

And you don’t even have to start beating yourself in the face, like that guy from Fight Club.

Although, you can, if you feel like you have to.

Seriously though, we want you to realize that you have agency: you can actively change your fate.

How do you do this?

It all starts with the first rule of Fight Club: don’t talk about it.
The first step is refusing to speak or even think in terms of being controlled.

Replace “I have to” with “I’m going to” in both your speech and your thoughts.
That is how you reclaim your agency.

After all, no one is making you do anything. You always have a choice.

You are not a puppet.
You are not trapped.
You are not stuck.

As long as there’s breath in you lungs, you have the possibility to turn it all around.

So, are you in?

Or would you rather stay dead?

Let’s go!
