I suspect people hear “it’s good to build a portfolio” for your career, and then parts of them feel down and defeated.
Because they currently have zero projects on display!
So, it seems daunting to “build a portfolio” from the beginning.
“That’ll take forever” is the sentiment.
So they never start. Totally understandable….but this is the essence of the modern era that has forgotten about patience.
The way to get started is just get started, and let your portfolio emerge over time.
Take off the pressure! Just start. Focus on the Now.
