Be Speedy

One way to stand out in the applicant pool is to be speedy and reliable.

  • Send a thank you email within 5 minutes of the interview
  • Be first to apply (i.e. pitch) for a job
  • Respond to emails within 24 hours consistently

Build your reputation. Companies will like pretty-talented-and-reliable over very-talented-and-unreliable.

Before you pitch a company, you want to learn about them. Where to start? We've mentioned Crunchbase, but you can also use to learn about their funding rounds, competitors, revenue, key people, and more.

Quote of the Day

"The number one advice I have, is communicate, learn how to communicate.”
