Saying Thank You > Saying Sorry

Most people apologize more than necessary.

What if you said “thank you” 100 times more  than “sorry”?

“Thanks for your patience.”
“Thanks for your understanding.”
“Thank you for your flexibility.”
“Thank you for your time”
“Thank you for waiting for my reply.”

I’m not sure it’s possible to say “thank you” too often. And when you say “sorry” rarely, people will know it’s from the heart.

A New Approach to Building Your Personal Brand

Here’s a new post from Harvard Business Review on building your personal brand. See what you can learn from it and compare it and contrast it to one of our posts on branding!

“First you need a long-term vision and mission. What difference would you like to make to the various audiences that are important to you, personally and professionally, and what values would you like to embody as you do so?”

Quote of the Day

‘“People are frugal in guarding their personal property; but as soon as it comes to squandering time they are most wasteful of the one thing in which it is right to be stingy.”
