This approval-seeking becomes a quick-fix mechanism to get underlying needs met for acceptance, belonging, and love.
The result is we deny our Authentic Self, just to fit in.
But the Authentic Self is essential to living a life and forging a career that makes YOU come alive.
Let go of status seeking. Become un-phased by others’ opinions.
You are an adult now…..choose to love and value your inner child, just the way he or she is.
All that matters is the approval of yourself.
