Apply to One job only

Do This One Thing

I'm sure someone has told you to apply to 5-10 jobs a day. Let me tell you, that's so ineffective and a waste of time. Do this ONE thing instead.

Choose ONE Company

What's your dream company? Do you have one?

If not, don't pressure yourself to find one right away. Passion can only be organic.

But also, realize the value of going all in with one company you love.

If a company speaks to your soul, then like, get ridiculous and send 'em 2, 3, 5, or 6 custom projects! Spot gaps in the business you can solve. Absolutely blow the lid off!! Be so good that the second place candidate is way behind.

You don't *have to* do this to get a job. But it might guarantee you one.

Go deep, not wide.

All about Interviewing

Here are resources for nailing your next interview (from us at Crash and our friends at Praxis).

One highlight from the interview guide:

"Interviews go both ways. They are not about saying the 'right' things. They are about being yourself and discovering whether you and the company are a good fit. Not everyone is a fit with every company or role!"

Quote of the Day

“Perhaps your challenge isn't finding a better project or a better boss. Perhaps you need to get in touch with what it means to feel passionate. People with passion look for ways to make things happen.”― Seth Godin, Linchpin: Are You Indispensable?
