The Daily Job Hunt

1 Thing a Day

When I was on the job hunt, I was already employed, but at a job that drained me.

So making my next move would mean taking action on the side: before work, after work, and on weekends.

My main system for success? Do 1 thing a day to make progress, also known as "Non-Zero Days."

To ensure I followed through, I bought myself a little notebook. Every night before I went to bed, I wrote down the task or tasks that I had done that day, even if it was just "researched companies for 5 minutes."

Writing this down reminded my subconscious that I was moving forward by 1% a day.

Eventually, the compound effect would take place, and I'd bust down the door of my next job opp.

And I did just that.

Make progress daily and you will be rewarded.

Quote of the Day

— Amy Poehler
