Asking For Feedback
Let’s say you interviewed for a job, but didn’t get the offer.
It makes sense to want to know why! So it’s worth it to ask for feedback.
But just know, companies aren’t incentivized to give it to you.
From their side, there isn’t much upside to telling you why you failed, just lots of downside (like candidates getting mad at them).
So don’t get discouraged if they don’t respond. But still ask! It can help you learn from your interview, and the very act of asking puts you in a mindset of growth and improvement.
