1) Skip the job portal application entirely. Email a human a video pitch.

2) Apply on the job posting, but instead of attaching a resume, attach a doc that just lists a URL for a video pitch.

You can burn your resume, ladies and germs.

A couple years ago Morgan Von Gunten made a landing page for a company, Aceable. This is a perfect example of creating value upfront, and how you get interviews!

She also made this video explaining her thought process behind the LP.
